What's Included in Pool Cleaning Service (and What Photo Reports Show You)
By Brent, owner · State-certified pool/spa contractor · 2 min read

If you've never had a pool service before, or you've had one that just showed up, dumped in chlorine and left, you might wonder what you're actually paying for. Here's what happens at every visit, and how you'll know it was done.
Every visit
- Test the water and balance chlorine, pH, and alkalinity
- Skim the surface for leaves and bugs
- Brush the walls, steps, and tile line
- Vacuum the pool (as needed, normally every visit)
- Empty the skimmer and pump baskets
- Check the equipment: pump, filter, heater, salt system or chlorinator, and automation, so small problems get caught early
Every month
- Clean the filter
Weekly, bi-weekly or monthly
Choose the schedule that fits your pool and budget: weekly, every other week, or once a month. Visits are on a set schedule, so you always know when we'll be there. You don't need to be home. As long as we can get to the pool, we can take care of it.
A photo report after every visit
This is the part customers like most. When I finish, you get a photo report showing your pool and what was done, sent through our customer portal. If you're traveling, or you just want proof the job got done, it's right there.
If something needs attention, like a pump making noise or a leak starting at the filter, you'll hear about it right away, usually with a photo. And because I'm a state-certified pool and spa contractor, the same person who cleans your pool can repair the equipment too. Many pool cleaners aren't licensed to do that.
Chemical-only service
If you like doing the cleaning yourself but want the water chemistry handled right, we also offer chemical-only service: water testing and balancing on your schedule, without the full cleaning.
No long-term contracts
Service is month to month. Pay however works for you: online through the customer portal (including auto-pay), by check, or by cash.
